Fall is a great time for learning to gather native seeds!
1-2:00pm - Seed collection hike throughout the prairies of County Farm Park.
2-3:30pm - Community seed share at Platt Pavillion
Everyone is welcome!
There are always extra seeds, so even if you don't have anything to share, pick up some seeds and have a cup of tea at the campfire while you converse with like-minded people and learn more about the local native plant gardening and seed-saving community. This event kicks off fall Seeds To Community processing as the series looks to grow in the new year. We invite you to stewards biodiversity in your neighborhood, one garden at a time!
Meet near the playground at the main park entrance. If you have collected seeds for the series, this event is a great time to drop them off. Offered as a collaboration between Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation and Seeds To Community!
